A Depressing Day

Yesterday at around 8:30 PM, my mother passed away after a week of fighting against an infection in her pancreas. It's been hard on me and my family, but we're determined to make it through this. If I post less than I have been in the last few months, though, it's because I'm having a bit of trouble mustering up the motivation to work on movesets, writing and the like.
I hope you all can understand.

Way To Go...

I really don't understand the idea of the Eclipse - when they first announced it it sounded interesting on paper, until they showed it to us, in which it came off as a terrible MESS.
- Tabs that aren't needed
- Things reorganized into ways that absolutely nobody wants
- Tucking away things like the watch list off to a different side so you don't see them
- The already longer than they used to be loading times taking twice as long
- No longer showing our favorites together on the front page

- Removing the ability to hide our older journals.
- (And this one is something I hear from others) It not working well with Mobile Phones, it's entire reason for existing
Heck, even the good background colors they DID switch to are now back to the regular one because THAT'S what were were all complaining about, right?
Who the heck thought this was a good layout? Worse, who APPROVED this once the layout was presented?

Hurricane Status: I'm Alive

Don't worry everyone, I'm alive. Though Hurricane Florence really did a number.
Summary of how the events went down -
Friday - Things were going well until the power cut off at about noon. Of course, this was just after mom had said "at least we still have power" << Oh, cosmic timing. Also, that night we learned that we would have to throw out everything from the fridge when power got back on because apparently, refridgerators can only keep things cool for four hours without power. On the other hand, before my Switch ran out of power, I finally beat Mario Odyssey, so that's a plus.
Saturday - Found out that the back door to my house somehow broke. So now we'll have to pay to get a replacement when the storm's over. I'm not sure how, but we held together pretty well.
Sunday - At this point we had all but lost it. It was really aggrivating and most of our stuff was running low on power. Then, we got back power!! ---for about an hour and a half. =_=
Monday - Okay, the hour and a half of power was because a transformer down in the trailer park went down and then a tree fell onto the power lines in the exact same yard that it had already happened in. However, over 12 hours after reporting it and still no repairmen. And I note, the storm is technically over by this point - so it's a beautiful sunny day that, otherwise, would be considered perfect. We ended up calling them back and their response was "Well, there's only 29 houses in that area that have no power, so we're not working on it at the moment", sigh. My dream last night has made me conclude that I've finally gone stir-crazy and I think I've also gotten a bit sick because my stomach is starting to refuse anything but fluids. Threw out everything from Mom's fridge today. Of course, no sooner that I had written this, that it started to storm. Figures.
Tuesday - The power is back up, and it seems for good this time. Thank the Lord.
And that's how things went.

- Blade Wolfe.
2. Do you know why you were named that?
- Because of my abilities... which makes me question how they found out about them to name me... I'd--- best not think on that.
3. Are you single or taken?
- I'm going steady.
4. Have any abilities or power~s?
- I don't get why you're trailing like that, but in addition to being a pretty good runner, I can create bladed weapontry out of nowhere. Provided I can concentrate.

- You first. Okay, seriously, outside of my closest friends I have to work REALLY hard to get even the smidgeon of attention, I've had several mental breakdowns... How am I a Gary Stu?

- Blue. Are you perhaps colorblind?

- ...If you mean fur color, it's gray. I'm not like Antoine.
8. Have any family members?
- My father and little brother, who I have finally managed to find. My mother died though. I guess I have a stepmother and stepsister now, but I don't get along with the latter.

- Not really, but I help take care of Chao.

- Aside from training, I like to ride my motorcycle, Kaze.

- In both of my jobs, it's kinda' a necessary evil. If you mean verbally or emotionally... Yeah, it's happened. I'm not proud of it, and I've been forgiven.

- I'm sorry, my boss Zonic has just informed me - that's classified information.

- I'm a wolf. As if my name didn't give it away.

- I've got a tendency to not think through how my actions will affect other people. I used to also have a habit of jealousy, but I've gotten over it.

- Other than my father, you mean? I also look up to Tig Stripe, the founder of the Original Freedom Fighters.

- Straight.

- I did when I could. I've got a lot more responsibilities now though.

- Yes. In fact, Lycos has out and made it clear that if and when we get married, we're going to have kids. So I guess I have no say in the matter. *Laughs*

- To my knowledge, no.

- Becoming irrelevant and forgotten. Also, the possibility of Sonic or one of my protectorate dying.

- Normally, just my blue and light blue sneaks, a belt to carry my sword and white gloves. Sometimes I add jeans. During my Zone Cop work, I wear a Zone Cop uniform.

- Hamburgers mostly. Steak's pretty good too.

- Maybe.

British Sonic Fans... A Little help?

Seems a lot of the Sonic stuff was released primarily in Europe. Because of that, to truly include all the Sonic universes in 's Ultimate Sonic Fighter project, I'll need some information on the various things...
So... I need better info on the following subjects:
- The Martin Adams Books published by Virgin Books (information on original characters like Iggy/Ichunemon, Eggor, and Mickey the Monkey, as well as the full events from the Fourth Dimension book would be most helpful).
- The Ladybird Sonic Adventure Books
- The Fantail Sonic Adventure Books
Yeah this is a short list, but I felt it best to get it out here incase any British Sonic fans check out my page for USF stuff.
