Plot:
Ultimate Street Fighter is a dream match game. However, there is still a vague plot to facilitate endings.
During the time inbetween Street Fighter V and Street Fighter III... Some force that shouldn't exist is pulling in Street Fighters from all timelines. Fighters from the past, fighters from the present, fighters from the future, fighters from alternate timelines like the EX, 2025, Mouse Generation, the Storytelling Game, and Movie timelines, and even fighters from other universes and parallel futures.
Like the Alpha series, it's not a tournament but rather people stumbling around across the merged world and fighting. Only by defeating the villain can the times be returned. But will the fighters remain the same after learning of alternate timelines?

Gameplay:

Like in Hyper Street Fighter II, Hyper Street Fighter II: Anniversary Edition, Hyper Street Fighter Alpha and Ultra Street Fighter IV, you can play different "Versions" of characters, but this time their default outfit and color will change based on the version.

A thought I had for a while. This is Ultimate Street Fighter, basically a Street Fighter Dream Match game.

There were several more characters I was going to include from the fandom, but I felt like including a barer list as default (though I did include one character I was given permission to use a while ago, :iconshinleejin:'s um... Shin Lee Jin). I'll probably ask around for characters later and if I run out of room, make a separate section for OCs that aren't mine.

I'd REALLY like to get a list of the pre-created characters from the Street Fighter Storytelling Game, but I only know a handful and most of the torrents seem to be down. :P Like with the Sonic one, if anyone can hand me PDFs of the six guidebooks (Street Fighter: The Storytelling Game, Secrets of Shadaloo, Street Fighter Storyteller's Screen, Street Fighter Player's Guide, The Perfect Warrior and Contenders) I'd really appreciate it (and may try to do something for you in exchange, if that'll help).

Hopefully I can find info on more Street Fighter comic characters, so I can add them.

Edit 1 (2/26/16): Added Hikadoshi, Sarah Lewis, Leander, Drakis, Vanda Pegazzani and Dana Bat from the Storytelling Game, Nida from the Malibu Comic, Kikun, Kokuja and Lo Yang from Street Fighter II Victory, Satin Hammer from the SF Animated Series and five guest fighters (Jon Talbain, Leo, Strider Hiryuu, Snake-Eyes, Jin Kazama and Little Mac).

Edit 2 (3/6/16): Added the thirteen wrestlers of Slam Masters, Nick Fontana, Lady Death, Itoketep, Anvil, Praetorian, Jaq, Dunatis, Yuki Takeda, and Jackie Quace from the Storytelling Game and guest characters Akira Yuki, Captain America and Delsin Rowe. Also added short bios for three of the original characters (Sho, Keith and Asmodeus).

Edit 3 (4/9/16): Added Scott and Max from Street Fighter II's intro, Crimson Crawdad from the Cartoon and Hu, Dakmar, Icepick, Arslan, Kai O' Hare, Kiritan, Dehrik Savitch, Matrix, and Amanda Raintree from the Storytelling Game. Bonus additions are the cast from Jang Pung 3 and a hadnful of fighters from Kuài Dǎ Chuánshuō - both unlicensed games with Street Fighter heritage (One a sequel to a unlicensed SF2 port, the other titled "Street Fighter IV" on it's title screen). No guest characters this time, sorry.

Edit 4 (5/17/16): Added Jaques, Kallista, Phoenix, Al-Nay, Danni, The Mollusk, So Kwa, Drake, Corona and Lussthu-Kha from the Storytelling Game, Eric the Imperfect Shotoklone from MUGEN and named SF5 Beta Concepts, Elizabeth and Asuka. Again, no guests, as I'm narrowing down the X-Box selection.

Edit 5 (6/21/16): Very Small update. Added Sapphire, Harpol, Mace, Major Carnage, Rix, and Hammer from the Storytelling Game, 2 MUGEN Characters (Black Tiger - better known as Tigre Negro but I threw in some translation to prevent unfortunate implications - and Jonathan Majors) and 2 guest characters (Kyo Kusanagi and B. Orchid).

Edit 6 (7/24/16): Another small update - included Final Fight bosses Damnd, Edi. E and Abigail as well as Street Fighter 2010 boss Dr. Jose to the list. Been too intently working on USF movelists to go through the stuff for the Tabletop game, and feel like saving the remaining Dolls for other times I have lulls in updates.

Edit 7 (8/29/16): Yet another small update (even smaller than the last one) but this one has mildly more interesting bits. Thanks to the Capcom SFV Profiles, additional characters are added from Cannon Spike (Shiba Sentaro and Simone) and Pirate Ship Higemaru (Momotaro), all three of which were canonized in the Street Fighter universe. We'll likely gain more in the coming months.

Edit 8 (10/17/16): Missed a month. Sorry about that. Update includes the bosses from Final Fight 2, 3 and Streetwise (Won Won, Freddie, Bratken, Phillipe, Retu, Dave, Callman, Caine, Drake, Wong, Stray, Black, The Stiff, Lou and Blades), as well as three more characters brought up in CFN - two from Pirate Ship Higemaru (Bows and Beard) and Ruby Heart's Street Fighter incarnation.

Edit 9 (1/14/17): Wow, I haven't touched this in a while. I have to retrieve my source for the Pen and Paper RPG, but added alt. versions of Sean and Ryu seen in comics (Sean's is from a SF3 Manhua, Ryu's is from Udon Comics) and Raven, a character planned from the Street Fighter the Movie game who was never finished. In addition, I moved Dangerous Dan to the Udon section as he debuted there officially (though didn't get a move off).

Edit 10 (2/11/17): Whelp. The first of the new characters for Season 2 of SFV has been announced. In addition, the other Capcom Fighting All-Stars planned characters are also included in the list now.

Edit 11 (5/7/17): Wasn't sure if I wanted to put this up until I found the fan bios on CFN - so now I can. Ed, the next SFV DLC character as well as the four current Street Fighter Laboratory characters (Kevin, Cuticle Toru, Prince Broiler and Saotomi) are now added to the roster. Hopefully I won't have to remove the descriptions with all these characters showing up...

Edit 12 (7/16/17): Sweltering in heat from a broken Air Conditioner, and the character announced today is already represented.... so instead, I input three more of the profile characters, a trio of Wrestlers with connection to the SF Lineage, Antler Inoki (an old rival of Haggar's), Demon Machami (a rival of Mika's) and Meteorito Jr. (El Stingray and El Fuerte's master).

Edit 13 (8/28/17): Added newcomer Menat, as well as Easy Kim 3, another SF Labs character - this is a short update because I don't have much info on much other characters at the moment. ^^; My bad.

Edit 14 (10/15/17): Added Zeku.

Edit 15 (12/11/17): Wow, Okay, Capcom. Announce them all at once. Falke and G are added. I'll add in their nationalities later.

Edit 16 (6/4/18): Thanks to "The Making of Street Fighter II", I had added the original eight planned World Warirors (Masaaki, Zhi Li, Bunbobo, Jumpsey, Tahir, Muller, Great Tiger and Anabebe) and thanks to Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, Lord Drakkon is added to the guests.

Edit 17 (8/18/18) - Thankfully, I can update again thanks to the glitch stopping. In the past few months, a version of Ryu was introduced called Ryu Ranger for Power Rangers: Legacy Wars. In addition to him, added Cantana, La Lupa, Amy, Belgar, his brother Bella and, to complete the EX Roster, Terry Bogard and Hayate II. Next update will separate Strider from the Guest roster and include other Strider characters, among any other newcomers. Also, I'll eventually be moving the SF Roleplaying game characters to a new list and noting them as secrets you unlock with each Arcade mode victory - but I'm feeling lazy, so ehhh.

Edit 18 (12/16/18) - Added the newest newcomer, Kage - or Evil Ryu without Ryu. :P Planning on separating the Street Fighter: The Roleplaying Game characters into their own page (they'd be unlocked with each arcade victory).

Edit 19 (11/18/19) - Added Chun-Li Ranger. Still am holding off on separating the Roleplaying Game characters until I can find bios for the rest.

Edit 20 (6/6/21) - Added the original characters from the Mobile Game Street Fighter Duel as well as the last two SCRI OCs (There's a few I can't use because I can't HONESTLY imagine them). Changed Ryu Ranger and Chun-Li Ranger into their proper titles of Crimson Hawk Ranger and Blue Phoenix Ranger as well as Hayate II's actual name of Hayate Kamite.

Edit 21 (8/20/21) - Added Luke, Street Fighter V's final character. I may add most of the Guests from Online Generation but I'm not sure yet. Still having trouble finding a list of the Roleplaying Game characters.

Edit 22 (8/21/22) - A little more than a year later... Added the first two newcomers from Street Fighter 6 - Jamie and Kimberly. Also added not one, but two new guests, Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (IDW Version) and Yugo Ogami from Bloody Roar. Enjoy!

Edit 23 (11/26/22) - The confirmed characters from the Leak - Marisa, Manon, Lily and JP - as well as a character from an unofficial (but Capcom's considering making it official) novel, Dream Never Ends - Tawnya Blaze. Also Eleven the random select per-round character from SFV. Finally, three fan characters I've discovered recently, Iris and Maya by Hatsubara_8chan and Mieledie Ueda by ShadowScarKnight. FINALLY got rid of the Storytelling Game section for it's own page.

Edit 24 (12/09/22) - Okay, minor adjustment. Just found out Maggio was given a fighting style in the Udon Comics, so he's added (in there under Alpha 3, when he was originally mentioned) and moved JP to the boss for Street Fighter 6 (Which is PRESUMABLY his point). Hopefully the Strider movement will be added next time.

Edit 25 (6/7/23) - Added the voice actors from the SF6 cast as well as Carlos's voices in both languages. Also added Retsu and Damnd's new English voices (and added full names of the characters who have them - Jamie, Kimberly, Manon, Lily, and Damnd). Will try to do the Strider movement later - Dante should also be added next time thanks to being in Street Fighter: Duel. While not listed, your Avatar from SF6 would be ;playable - on consoles without a way to transfer it over (Switch), you'd be able to make them from scratch.

Edit 26 (8/10/23) - Super minor edit, added another guest character, one Mr. Sun by one Maja Weber. I dunno if I'll get around to editing the Strider characters at this point.

Hey there, I got a question. Are you going to consider yourself including Tifa Lockhart (Britt Baron/Ayumi Itou) in this game? Tifa fits very well in a Street Fighter game. If Noctis can be in Tekken 7, then Tifa can be in a Street Fighter game as well.
