A few quick taps of Pokedex and Ash Ketchum was suddenly brimming with
energy.
"Alright!" he cheered, the small electric mouse on his shoulder mimicking him,
"Are we close yet, Brock?"
Ash was just as surprised as anyone to discover Professor Oak personally
knew the CEO of Sylph Corp! As a favor to his old friend, the company
president had agreed to introduce Ash to their database of rare Pokemon. It
was said that they even had DNA on file from the ancient Pokemon Mew.
(Although how Oak had managed to coax the old man into releasing such
top-secret info to a youngster like Ash and co was beyond them)

The quartet of trainers (well, one a trainer-in-training) arrived in
Sidegate City. It was a pretty average stop, with nothing special for
tourists save for the gigantic, wing-shaped twin towers near the center of
the city. No one but employees of the Syplh Co subsidiary were usually let
inside. As they approached the archetectural wonder, May smothered her
Torchic against her chest.
"Oh wow, this place looks awesome! I can't wait to see inside!" she cooed,
her Torchic cheeping in suffocation.
Max adjusted his glasses and scanned Brock's city map. The subsidiary really
did look like a set of gateposts.
It bothered him a bit, though. Sylph had funded the Cinnabar Labs, and
something horrible had happened to the whole facility. He had read about it
in more than a few books, and something about it had always seemed fishy.
But then, he was still fascinated by the mystery of the Bahmuda Pentagon. It
was probably nothing...

In the back of Ash's Mind, he wondered if Mewtwo would be pissed to find out
that Slyph Co. had Mew's DNA File. Then again, wouldn't Mewtwo already KNOW
about something like that? For once, Brock had guided the group to their
destination WITHOUT getting them lost. Too bad Misty wasn't here to view
this miracle of Lugia.

"Wow. This place is bigger than I thought," Max said. That's when Max
noticed something, "Wait... Where is everyone? They knew we were coming..."
"Pi?", Pikachu questioned, as his ears twitched a bit.
"Wow, to think, this is the first time I'll ever see inside this place," Ash
commented.
"Whaddya mean you don't have it yet!?" a familiar voice screeched from just
behind the sliding glass entrance.
"Hey Brock," Ash looked stunned. "That voice sounds familiar."
"Yeah, it sounds almost like... no, it couldn't be!" Brock made a dash for
the Silph co glass doors, the rest of them following close behind. With a
mechanical whoosh they slid open to reveal a massive, gilded lobby.
And there, standing at the front desk, shaking her fist angrily, was none
other than Misty!!
"I ordered that stupid part five weeks ago!" she screamed at the cowering
front desk clerk. "I wanna talk to your manager... no, the head of the whole
company right NOW!"
"Misty!" The girl's fit of anger dissolved instantly into a naive sort of
surprise.
"Oh hey, Ash. Brock. What are you guys doing here? Come to complain about
the service as well!?"
Both Ash and Brock thud-attacked the floor. Ash was the first to get up. "We
haven't seen each other in months and all you have to say is 'What are you
guys doing here?'!?"
Misty returned his snarl. "Ok then, how about this: you never write, you
never call, I can't believe you Ash! What kind of friend are you!?"
As Misty continued her tirade (and Ash shrunk back in terror) Max and his
sister exchanged glances. 'Lover's quarrel' May whispered.
"What'd you say!?" both trainers suddenly loomed angrily over the
coordinator. Max took this chance to excuse himself and pulled Brock away
from the desk attendant. Man, he never learns.
"Oh, by the way, Professor Oak sent us so that we could meet the president
of the company." Pikachu brough him a note from the Professor and handed it
to the lady. "So you're the promising young trainers I've heard about." Max
grinned and rubbed the back of his head in embarassment. He wasn't quite a
trainer yet...
"Go right through those doors into the elevator, 8th floor. He should be
expecting you."
"Oh, the Professor sent you guys? This is perfect Ash, now I can get into
the president's office and personally give him a piece of my mind!"
Ash shrugged. "Well, I guess if you want to. We do have a little catching up
to do." May bit her tongue and edged cautiously towards the elevator.

Meanwhile, peering into the building from just outside the lobby, a tower of
Rockets wobbled just high enough to see inside. "This is it, the jackpot!"
Meowth snapped, "This place has all kinds of Pokemon data."
"What good is that supposed to do, Meowth!?" James, as usual the bottom
pillar of the pyramid, grumbled.
"Think James!" Jessie barked, "With that kind of database, the boss would
know everything about Pokemon! All the latest abilities and discoveries...
Team Rocket will be invincible!"
"You're right! Knowledge is power after all!" James cooed. Meowth sighed and
commented to himself, "No wonder we get beaten all the time." Jessie, who
was more optimistic, broke away from the tower of Rockets to think of some
way to get that data. "I've got it! Another ingenious scheme from the mind
of me! Beauty AND brains!" And with that, Jessie began chirping her patented
vanity laugh.
Meowth and James slumped over. Jessie had a plan. They were doomed.

On the 8th Floor, the group got out, only to find...

"...Drew," May said, a bit of loathing in her voice, "What are YOU doing here?"

"I'm here because my travelling partner came here."

"YOU have a travelling partner?", May asked.

Ash felt sorry for whoever the travleling partner in question was.

Out stepped a young man with spikey white hair, a bandanna around his head, and a red and black outfit.

"He is."

May blushed, "Uh.. Umm.. Uh.... Hi."

"Oh, hello, I'm Brendon Birch. Your the group Prof. Oak sent right? Dad mentioned he sent over a group too."

"You're Proffessor Birch's Son?", Max asked.

"Yeah... Hey, wait, I remember you, didn't you participate in the Indigo League and the Silver Conference?", Brendon Asked of Ash.

"Yeah...", Ash answered, hoping he wouldn't make a comment similiar to Max's upon remembering him.

"You did a good job there. Sorry you didn't win either."

"Oh, uh, It's okay. I'm just glad I got as far as I did...", Ash then gave a smile, "And beat my rival Gary in the Silver Conference."

The Six trainers, and Max, finally entered the office of the Slyph Co. President...

"Why hello, youngsters!" a jovial, bald man with a large, frizzly mustachethrew wide his arms to greet them. "Ash, a pleasure to see you again.
He offered up a respectful bow to the heroic trainer.

"Oh, forgive me a moment and allow me to introduce myself to the rest of you. I am the man in charge of this operation, Alexander J. Garet. And, I do believe you are here for the research data Professor Oak requested?"

"Right."Ash shrugged, embarrased to have a grown man bowing so deeply to him. Misty nudged him and whispered for him to drop the modesty act. The red-business coated CEO turned and led them to the top-secret laboratory on this floor. Each one was amazed by the advanced technology being developed, but none so much as Max. At each stop, he all but had to be peeled off the glass observation window.

"Now, here's what the Professor requested!" Alexander removed the glove on his right hand and held it to a scan pad, tapped a long sequence of passcodes, and then confirmed a retinal scan.
"Pretty extreme security, for something as simple as a Pokemon database." Misty noticed. Brock put his hand to his chin and thought about that. It DID seem kind of odd.

The door swished open.
"Alright!" Ash and Brendon burst into the room. In its center was a heavy supercomputer pillar with thousands of observations on each screen. Both trainers jacked their PokeDex into the machine and began downloading intesive Pokemon research entries.

"Wow, it even has some data on Mew!" Ash remarked.
Quickly becoming bored, Misty began to explore around the room. It was filled with tech equipment that made no sense to her, but was probally full of Pokemon data.
"Hey, Mr. Garet? What's this?"

"Don't touch it!!" the dark-spectacled man, in a surprisingly nimble dash, leapt at Misty to knock her hand away from a seemingly empty glass box.
"THAT, young lady, is an Upgrade! And I would thank you very much not to touch it!" he barked, his posture changing from beneign uncle to evil dictator. His fingers were even curled in frustration.

"Geez, sor-ree!" Misty recoiled. Ash rushed to her side. It was just a plexiglas box with a series of computer cables jacked into its side. Nothing special at all!
May barged up to the President of Sylph co grabbed him by the tie and tugged him down until his face was only an inch from hers.

"It's not her fault! And who do you think you are, just hitting people like that!? Ooooohhh! People like you are worse than Bug-type Pokemon!"
She shoved him hard in the direction of his precious upgrade. Stumbling around awkwardly, the otherwise dignified Mr. Garet crashed into the console where the Upgrade was being programmed. He fell over backwards launching the item high into the air!

"The upgrade!" Brock shouted, making a running dive for it. Before he could catch it, the item shattered into pieces on the cold, metal floor.

"No! No! Oh nooooo!" the CEO wailed. He was ruined. All that he had invested.
"Wh-what's happening!?" a strong jolt of electricity sparked from the Pokemon database, coursing over his Pokedex and into his body. On the oppososite side of the pillar, the same thing happened to Ash.

"Pi-Pikachu!!" the yellow rat leapt for his best friend, only to pass right through him!

"P... Pikachu! I... can't... let go!!" Ash grunted. He was sure it was just the electricity numbing his nerves. Nothing Pikachu hadn't done to him before.
Still reeling on the floor, Misty screamed! Digital-green zeroes and ones began to overtake her body, flowing across her like a living computer screen!

"Sis, look!" Max pointed to May, who was also being engulfed in the binary program!

The Binary Code effected each occupant of the room. Even Pikachu wasn't uneffected. It was hard to tell whether or not the Pokémon in their Pokéballs were effected at all, after all, you can't see in a closed Pokéball.

"What is this?," Brendon asked.

"It looks like some kind of computer code...," Max shouted as he felt the surge of energy...

As the energy started to fade, the column started to explode. The explosion simply knocked Ash and Brendon back, because they're used to getting blasted by misfired Pokémon attacks. The CEO, being a bit out of shape, wasn't as lucky, and was slammed into the far wall, killing him.

Max looked away in horror. He had never seen death before in person, so this was a gruesome site to him. Although the others haven't seen it as much, they were pretty aware of the fact that things die. Ash, Misty, and Brock had all seen a legendary die before.

A Portal made up of 0s and 1s appeared from out of the smoke... Suddenly, it started sucking in the Eight Living Beings in the room.

"What is this!?"

"I don't know, but hold on!"

Soon, all Eight had been pulled inside, and the portal closed.

A Multitude of colors passed the eight, as green numbers were being 'printed'. If it wasn't for the fact that they were being sent to some place far, far away, they probably would have thought this was fun.

Misty had subconsiously grabbed a hold of Ash while they were being sucked into the portal. Although Misty hadn't noticed what she did, Ash did, and was blushing.

May was spiraling in a way that gave Drew a view of her undergarments, but Brendon helped her get in the right position to keep him from peeping. Brendon glared at his travelling companion, promising pain later.

A void of numbers was all that was in front of them... when they got to it, they were uncerimoniously dropped onto the ground of some strange land. Various complaints were thrown around about the roughness of their landing.

"I wonder if that's how Team Rocket feels after we blast them off?", Ash wondered aloud.

Pikachu shrugged.

The Portal that they had fell out of had closed up, leaving them stranded in the strange land.

"Ow! OW! Okay okay! I'm sorry!", Drew said as Brendon whapped him upside the head a few times for being a pervert.

"Oh my God!", May shouted as she saw her little brother, unconcious on the ground. Her dad would KILL her if she let something happen to him, she attempted to shake him awake, "Max! Wake up!"

The others ran up to May in concern. "May! What's wrong with Max?"

"I dunno. He won't wake up. Do you think he's...?"

"Ughh....", Max moaned, "What happened?"

"Thank goodness! Max, you had me scared to death."

"If that's true than why are you still here?", Drew joked

"DREW!", Brendon shouted.

As this exchange was going on, Max finally got up. Ash, Misty, Pikachu and Brock were shocked at what they saw... Max looked quite a bit older. He was at least as old as May now. His clothes had even gotten bigger, and his pants were no longer shorts...

"Max!?" May shrieked. "Wh-what's happening!?"
Without even realizing that that a very fine, white felt was engulfing her body, May ran to her brother's side. He was doubled over, clutching his sides in agony.

"Don't know! Feel... different..." Max's body was getting larger! His already blue hair was becoming bristled, and seemed to be growing elsewhere.
Max suddenly threw back his shoulders and howled with pain.

It was then that Misty noticed his chest. On top of his sudden growth spurt, Max's chest and stomach muscles had suddenly become very well defined. She couldn't help but stare a moment as Max's toned abs made themselves clear through his tight green shirt.

As Misty and Ash gathered to help the rapidly developing young man, nobody took  notice as Brock crossed his arms and glared at Max.

"It took me years to develop a body like this and that kid does it in a few seconds..." his jealousy-possessed mind whispered to itself. "It's not fair! All that work, and still not a single girl to show for it."

His eyes began to twitch with envy and frustration.

"S... sis! It hurts!" Max's voice deepened into a manly soprano as he continued to grow. His arms and legs were now just as buff as his chest. His shirt ripped down the middle as a ribbon-like tail burst from just above the seat of his pants.

"Brock, you know a little bit about medicine, right? Can't you help him!?" Misty pleaded. Try as he might, Brock couldn't hide the indignation in his voice.

"No, I've never seen anything like it."

"But we've gotta... May!!" Ash pointed to the trainer's now fuzzy face. She had whiskers! Her ears had disappeared completely, but underneath her bandana were two suspicious-looking triangles.

"Aaauggghgh!" Max gave an agonized scream, which slowly degenerated into a wolf-like howl! His mouth and his nose pushed out, slowly fusing into a short box muzzle with a canine nose at the end. His forehead sloped into a feral brow.

"He's turning into a monster!" Drew reeled and took a step back, a twinge of fright crossing his cool demeanor.

Max continued to grow and become more muscular, until finally his shorts began to strain and rip. His fingers became bulky paws, each tapering off into a viscious claw! The same happened to his feet. Finally, as Max ended his soul-wrenching howl, his hair spiked back into a light blue mane of fur

He shakily got to his feet and held his head. The world was still spinning.

"Ggah-uggha..." Misty was staring wide-eyed at the final result she once knew as Max. He had turned into a hunk! She latched onto his sinewy left arm and drooled over his toned body.

"M-Misty...?"

"Oh wow... you're... hot..." she found herself struggling for words. Max opened his eyes and reguarded her curiously.

"Oh, I'm s-sorry, Misty," he growled gently and set her down. A bod like that and a gentleman to boot! Misty fawned.

Brock clenched his fists. Not once had a girl ever come running to HIM! It wasn't fair! And Max is... was... only just a little kid!

Ash sighed. He was almost ready to tell Misty how he felt when everyone else had gone to sleep, then all this had to happen. He had the WORST luck. Pikachu, who was on his shoulder, patted his OTHER shoulder in sympathy.

Brendon was in shock  from what had happened to the little boy he had only known for a few moments. This was something he never knew could happen... A person turning into what looked like a hybrid Pokémon?

Drew was still scared shitless. His rival's little brat brother had turned into a huge monster... and none of the others seemed even SCARED. Are they CRAZY?

May started to cry as she felt something pulling at her tailbone... out stretched a long purple and white tail, with a purple tuft, that somehow had a ring on the end of it. She was sure there wasn't a ring there at the start...

White fur started to cover her entire body as she shrunk into her outfit. Some sort of gloves appeared on her hands, just as she shrank totally into her outfit, and was thus unseeable.

"May?", Brendon said as he stared.

A Few sniffs, and Max was sure, "She's still in there... Sort of."

"What do you mean 'sort of'?"

"...You'll see.."

"What kind of answer is that, Max? Don't you care about your sister at all?", Ash asked.

"Yes. I care. I just somehow know she's fine."

Suddenly a small white cat with purple tipped ears, and the biggest eyes you've ever seen crawled out, "Yeah, I'm fine Ash-- I think..."

"oookay... that's... wierd..."

Drew started to scratch at his arm... it was really itchy all of a sudden...

"You... you're a cat!?" Misty shrieked. "Something's turning us into monsters, and I don't want to stick around and find out..."

The panic in her voice gave away her urge to run. She didn't want to wind up like Max or May. "Maybe it was just a family thing! Yeah, they were all a family of cursed warriors, or some legend thing." Misty consoled herself and hugged herself tightly.

"Misty, you ok? Momentai, it'll..." Drew clamped his hand over his mouth as everyone turned to stare at him. His usual cool, detached voice had just raised a few octaves!

"What did you just call me?" Misty glared.

"I dunno... I DON'T know. I mean..." he raised his hands to his face to realize they were now coated in beige fur!
"Oh my god. May! May, look what's... oh this is your fault, I'm turning into a cat too!!"

The now wolven Max stepped forward and sniffed him lightly.
"Hey, cut it out, I'm not a chew toy!" the coordinator cracked. He waved his fist at him, only to realize his arms were getting shorter! His hands didn't even reach to the elbow of his sweater!

"Not a cat... a dog, I think..." May smiled at him.

"How can you be so calm!?" Drew shot. His ears felt heavy. Wait, was it normal for a person to be able to 'feel' their ears!? Drew gaped as two floppy, rabbit-like ears slapped at his shoulderblades. The hair was an off-tan color, not white. Drew's eyes, his favorite feature in his opinion, dulled over until the color was replace by a single, large iris.

"Ohh... you're so cute!" May giggled. He was only a little taller than she was now!
"This coming from a plush animal!?" Drew snarled. Lost in the pile of clothes that had once been designer labels, a small puppy/rabbit hyrbid struggeld to free himself.

"It's not a family curse, it's coming for all of us!" Misty shivered. Brock rubbed his chin. It might not be so bad, and as long as he turned into something that could attract the ladies like Max now could...
"Uhh... need some help Drew...?" Ash cautiously approached the writhing pile of clothing.

"No, momentai..." a playful, muffled voice chided. The pastel sweater was ripped apart by a tiny set of claws and an adorable rabbit-like creature stumbled out. His tiny nub of a tail wagging excitedly. The creature craned his neck to see it.
"Humph... never had that before! What? Why are you all looking at me like that?"

"Oww... MY ears...", Brendon moaned as his ears fanned out to look like individual batwings. Orange fur started to cover them and the rest of his body in suit. His hair quickly fell out.

Some of the fur ended up a peach color, which was still darker than his hair was. His eyes started to grow, and suddenly, he too started to shrink into his clothes.

"Aw no! Not THIS!", He shouted, his voice sounding cuter by the moment.

Pikachu noticed Brock was beginning to look a bit Blueish.

Soon Brendan Birch's cries were muffled by his clothes.... Some ruffling around was heard, and then a small little Pikachu-looking creature with blue eyes and wings for ears was seen coming out, putting on a Bandanna.

He had small, three-digit black paws, large, round innocent eyes, Brendon's Black and Red Bandanna wrapped around his waste and... he was flying with his ears?

"Brendon?"

"Yeah, it's me... This feels kinda' funny."

"Are you ok?" Max benevolently knelt to check over the small, gerbil-like creature. "Ash? Max...?" Misty placed her hand on Ash's shoulder and half-hid herself behind him. "I... I don't want to... turn into..."

Brock rubbed his chin. There was a chance he would turn into a bodybuilder like Max or a stuffed animal like Brendon. They must have wanted to be like that, or maybe it was personality based. Brock's musings were cut short when he realized his hands were turning blue.

"It... it's got me!" he shouted. The blue spread over his body, a thin layer of scales rising from the rash.

"No! Brock!" Ash roared. "Hang on!"
The rock-type trainer smiled inwardly. "A dragon!" he thought to himself, "Alright, that'll show Max who's the man around here! Now, what to look like? I want to be strong..."

His body was becoming more streamlined, as a pair of blue curvy horns grew out of the back of his head. His previously tanned face was replaced by a white streak that ran down his frontside.

Brock grinned. The ladies wouldn't be able to resist him now! His mind refused to register the fact that he was shrinking. His body was becoming smooth, his muscles quickly losing tone.

"And handsome..." his eyes growing wide, for the first time in ages. Misty gasped. "Perfect! Even Misty will be stunned by a pair of great eyes!"
She had never actually seen what color Brock's eyes were!

"Where... was I? Oh, and I wanna be cute!" Brock held his hand to his rounding chin. Each digit of his hand was quickly melding back into his hand, the whole thing becoming nothing but a single, pointed nub. His clothes were huge now! Oh well, what did he need them for anways!? His short, reptillian tail was the only thing holding his pants on him at the moment. He was only about two feet tall and still shrinking!

"Alright, this is it!" in his cute, still adolescent-sounding voice called.
"Brock...!?" The kitty that had once been May scampered up to the chibi dragon.
"Look May! I got my wish! Lookit how strong I am!" the newly transformed Brock held up his nub of an arm and flexed it.

"Uhh... wow?" May decided to humour him, "Yeah. Yeah! Now girls will come running to you instead of you running to them."

"Girls!? Eww... no way!" Brock stuck out his tongue, disgusted. "Why would I want icky girls to come play with me?"

"Ookay... That's something I never expected to hear Brock say," Ash said. Misty nodded silently. This was surreal. There's no way this could be happening.

Pikachu didn't look too well, "Piik...aaa..."

"Pikachu!", Ash shouted, as his best friend fell off from his shoulder. He caught him just in time tho. Strange glowing 0s and 1s started to fly into Pikachu, it also repelled Ash from the fallen Pocket Monster!

As the glowing binary code flowed into Pikachu's body, he started to glow, as if he was evolving.

"Pikachu Pi Pika....", he muttered  to himself.

Pikachu's body started to grow, and he became much more humanoid. You could now easily see his 5 fingers on each hand, despite having only 3 toes on each foot. His body bulked up a bit, and his stance changed to a digigrade stance... Some of the Binary wrapped around his waist and turned into long pants - Biker Gloves appeared on each hand. Finally, he shouted out a name, "Pikachumon!"

Shaking out of his trance, Pikachu looked over to his Best friend/Trainer, "I-- I didn't think whatever this was would effect me too....". His eyes widened when he noticed he spoke perfect English.
"P... Pikachu?" Misty reached out and stroked his fur.
"Yeah, that's me. Just... don't forget the 'mon at the end." the humanoid mouse winked and grinned.

"So... so what has it been like, I mean, living as a Pokemon... before you could talk?"

"Yeah, Pikachu!" Ash turned from apprehensive to excited. "...er, mon."

"Right! Well, it was... I dunno. Not too much different from now, I guess. You were a Pikachu for awhile, you know what I mean."

A tiny static charge surged from Pika's fur through Misty's body. Startled, she pulled back her hand. If felt numb where she had made contact.
"W-wait a second..."

"What's wrong Misty?" Ash and Pikachumon turned questioning.
"My... my hand! My hand! Ash!!" as white fur spread over her dainty fingers, Misty went into a panic.

"I bet she's gonna turn into a little fishy!" Brock cheered innocently. Misty glared at him.

"F-fish don't have fur, rockhead!"
Holographic 0s and 1s occasionally revealed themselves over her body. Misty's whole arm was covered in white fur up to her elbows, where it faded into a smooth orange.

"N-no!" she clamped her unchanged left arm over her right, causing the transformation to infect it on contact. Her fur was surprisingly soft and silky. Her ribcage shifted inside her chest, followed by the bones in her hips. Ash began to blush.

"Wh-what's wrong with you, Ash Ketchum!?" she narrowed her eyes at him this time. Brock took this opportunity to run away and hide behind Drew. Ash gaped idiotically. Whatever Misty was changing into had very femine curves, unusual to see on the water trainer. He found himself blushing and tried to stare at the ground.

"Ash! Listen to me, I... ugh!!" With a loud pop, the bones at the base of her spine began to grow out, pushing at the back of her shorts.

"D-don't look you perv!" Misty swatted him away as she began to grow taller. The beginnings of a long tail, emerging from the top of her shorts. She realized that thick, black claws had developed from the tip of her fingers.

Paws. She had paws!? And her entire body was now covered in orange fur!

Misty almost fell forward onto all fours as her legs changed their proportions. Her feet enlongated, as did her calves. She noticed how long her tail had become. It was surprisingly graceful, she thought.

Max found himself blushing as well. He clasped his hands behind his back and tried to look away as Misty slipped out of her clothes.

"Your tail is wagging!" May nudged her bigger brother.

Max quickly grabbed hold of his tail to hide his interest and growled at the little feline.

"D-don't look!" Misty snarled. Her suspenders snapped, and her shirt was torn. This would have been very embarassing, were it not for a fluff of white fur that covered her chest surprisingly well.

It took a moment, but the pain finally subsided. She guessed it was over.
"Oh my god, I'm naked...!" she thought to herself and curled into a ball. She wrapped her plush tail around herself to try to hide her modesty.
"Misty?"

Misty turned to Ash, "Y-Yes?"

"I-- Uh...", Ash stammered, with his eyes to the floor, scratching the back of his head - a bit more than he usually would.

"Gah...", Ash said as he started to scratch harder.

"What's wrong, Ash?", Max asked concerned.

"My entire body itches like crazy!"

"Uh-oh..."

"What do you mean 'uh-oh'?"

"That's what happened before I changed," Drew told him.

"Oh no!"

"Momentai, it doesn't hurt!"

"That's not what I'm worried about."

"Then what?", Pikachumon asked his best friend.

"What of the other Pokémon? How will they feel about this?"

"Well, at least you won't have to worry about Bayleef snuggling you," Pikachumon joked.

"THAT'S NOT FUNNY, PIKACHUMON!", Ash and Misty chorused.

Ash's shirt was straining agianst his body by now, for some reason. A few seconds later, it burst open, and a muscular, and furry, chest was seen by all.

"Ash!"

With another rip, Ash's shoes ripped to shreds. He also started to look older as Orange fur started to cover his face. A long orange furred tail tipped with a tuft of Yellow fur snaked out from behind him

Misty didn't notice it, but she had started drooling, looking at the transforming Ash.

His face pulled out into a muzzle, and his normally spikey black hair became a flowing blonde mane of what LOOKED spikey, but was actually quite softer compared to his usual hairstyle.

One of his gloves grew to match his new size, while the other snapped off. Suddenly, a small sword floated down to Ash, and strapped onto the back of his outfit. Ash didn't quite get WHY, but he had a feeling he'd have to use the weapon eventually...

Misty immedately latched onto Ash's arm, "Ash! Are you okay?"

"Uh... I'm fine, Misty...", Ash said. Surprised at how deep his voice was now. He was also blushing to himself, but his new fur was too thick to see the blush through. It seemed Misty
had gotten over being naked.

Meanwhile...
With three heavy thuds, the metallic door of the data lab was pounded through with a steel battering ram. Standing in the dust and debris were two figuresque silhouttes.

"Prepare for trouble!"
"And make it double!"
"To protect the wo-ugh!" James was cut short as Meowth pounded the both of them on the head.

"Will youse two cut that out!? Look, there ain't even anybody in here!"
Both Rockets scanned the room. Indeed, the place was empty of human or pokemon life.

"We're too late, James! I told you to wait to find a restroom until after we got away!" Jessie screeched.

"I'm sorry, Jess, but I really couldn't hold it!"
With a loud -bamf- a blue punching bag materialized and saluted "Wob-buffet!"

"Wait a sec, remember what we heard from the lady up front?" Meowth wandered over to the console. On the other side of it was slowly depreciating tear in time/space. It looked vaguely like a thundershock attack stuck in midair.
Meowth disregarded it and toyed with the computer.

"Yes! Dis place is a goldmine of data on all different kinds of Pokemon! Just think what the boss could do with all this! You were right!"
Meowth crooned. He noticed it even had info on Pokemon he had never heard of. "Hold on, the systems are damaged."

"Can you fix it?" James peered over his shoulder.

"Yeah Meowth, YOU'RE the smart one!" Jessie shot.

A heavy shock burst from the computer, frying Meowth and James, whose hand remained on his shoulder.

"Help...mee!!" James cried out. Jessie shudderered. Think what that electrictiy could do to her hair!
"Go on Wobbuffet, make yourself useful!" she shoved the little blue blob their way.

"No... keep away!!!"
"Waaaaaaaa-"
The instant Wabbuffet tugged at the electrified bodies, his own marshmellow-like form joined the circuit.

"Oh, this isn't good." Jessie started nibbling at her nails. "Oh, I've got it! Wobbuffet, Mirror Coat!"
The little blob somehow managed to salute, his body shining momentarily as the circuit reversed and sent the voltage BACK through James and Meowth!!

Having only Pikachu to thank for their resistance to electricity, James and Meowth were finally set free of their agony when the machine overloading. It exploded, taking the ceiling with it!
"That... went well." black-faced Jessie shrugged. James and Meowth twitched a bit before collapsing to the floor.

"Hey... look. Dat hanging thundershock... I think it's gettin' bigger!" Meowth sputtered. He looked like a frizzy tan lintball. Sure enough, the cackling portal that had devoured the twerps seemed to be tearing ripping through the air around it.

A holographic wave of, what looked like, 0s and 1s blinked over James' convulsing body.
"Wh-whats' that!? James!?"

The numbers started to fill the room... Or... was the room getting pulled towards the numbers? They WERE starting to get bigger...

"Gaaah! What's happenin'!" Meowth paniced, "Jessie, NOW look what you did!"

"It's Wobbafett's fault! It was HIS attack!"

"But YOUSE told him to use it!"

"Guys?", James whimpered loudly, "Is it supposed to spark like that?"

"Huh?" Both of them looked at the device.

Just as they did, it imploded with digital code that covered everything. It didn't even stop once it reached the walls of the room...

"This... is bad..."

Ash was silently stroking Misty's fur while she was embracing him still, hoping she wouldn't notice. Misty was hoping Ash wouldn't have her stop embracing him.

"Ash! Misty! Get out of the way!", Max cried out.

"Yeah you Loverbirds! Move it!"

"DREW!", Brendon shouted, just as Ash and Misty let go of one another and retreated with the others. Buildings were starting to appear all over the landscape. They appeared as wireframe before being brought in.

The various now-digimon stood in ready positions, after setting their Pokéballs down on the ground near them. They sensed that whatever was going to come out of the building wasn't going to be good.

Ash placed a hand on his new sword, determined look on his face...

"Oh... where are we?" Jessie pulled her face from the digital dirt to meet with a the foot of some sharp-clawed creature! Instantly, she turned tail and cowered behind James.

"What're you doing, Jessie?" he hadn't noticed the large lionman who now unsheathed his massive sword and pointed its edge at his nose.
"Oh... it's just Team Rocket." Ash sighed, the sword blade easing off a bit.

"JUST Team Rocket!? Take 'em out anyways!" Drew glided onto Ash's shoulder.

"A good warrior welcomes an averted fight." Max adjusted his glasses. They had somehow been re-shaped to fit on his canine face, although the hooks no longer rested on his ears. Drew throught they made him look like a bishonen character in some manga, and was promptly missing a chunk of his tail for it.

"P-put that thing down! Please? We come in peace! Tell him Meowth, you speak Pokemon!" James plucked Meowth from his shadow and held him up like a shield.

"Hey! Whaddya think you're doing, this guy could use me as a chew toy, and..."

"I'm not a Pokemon, y'know." Ash sheathed his sword as Misty sauntered up behind him and resumed her loving embrace.

"That voice..." James scratched at his cheek, a few flakes of skin falling off as he did, "You sound familiar..."

"It's the twerp!" Jessie whacked him on the temple. "He's all grown up and he's... a were-lion! Or something! Uhhh.. heheh, sorry for trying to steal Pikachu. Here, you can have Meowth as our way of saying sorry."

"J-Jessie..." James had suddenly turned a crimson red. He wobbled around obviously sick.

"It's so hot here... why are we in the jungle?!" he shouted. Jessie gasped as another holograpic wave of binary code ran over his body. His rocket outfit had somehow become very lose against his body. He was almost swimming in his uniform

"J-James.. what's happening to you?"

"He's turning into one of us..." Max closed his book and observed.

"One of you!? Just what are you, anyways!?"

His ears had flattened and disappeared.  His hands became soft with three fingers

A golden trumpet tore out of James's scaly green skin from his shoulder and around his neck. His hair fell out. He crouched down and held his head, which seemed to resemble a frogs, and croaked low to himself.

Finally growing to small for his clothes, simply slipped off revealing his small form. The former Rocket lost his balance and frontflipped, winding up strewn on his back with his tan belly up in the air.
"What... am I? Jessie?

"He's-- He's a frog with a trumpet?! Wow! Never thought I'd see one!", Meowth said non-challantly. If it were anyone but James, he'd be scared out of his wits. "Think of how much da' boss would pay for a real live dinosaur!", Meowth said, dollar signs in his eyes.

"WHAT!?", James roared, rather pathetic as his now small size would dictate.

Meowth didn't notice it, but his gold charm had slipped off his head. Usually, he'd notice immedately. This time he didn't, for some odd reason.

His upper paws changed to look a bit more like hands, and his eyes got rounder. His Tail uncurled.

"Nyasumon!" he shouted out for no particular reason. He then blinked, "Um... What was I saying again, Jess?"

"Y-You just changed.", Jessie stuttered, while pointing at the cat.

Meowth, or rather Nyasumon, looked at himself, "GAH! You're right! My Charm! My Tail! And look at my PAWS!"

A bit of the light entered Jessie...

"Heh. You didn't need to change much, I see," Pikachumon remarked.

"Huh? Who're yous?"

"...Guess, Bucketbrain."

"PIKACHU!?"

"That's PikachuMON now, Nyasumon."

While Meowth crumped to the floor in exasperation, Jessie backed herself away from the lot of them. Meowth now looked like a cartoon character, even if he only changed a little. Now that they were in this world, would she change as well?

The terror of becoming some wild animal overcame her! What would it do to her perfectly good looks!?

"I've gotta get out of here!" She dashed with uncharacteristic speed towards the tear in reality from which she had been ejected, only to find it was no longer there! Or, rather, it was so big, she couldn't tell where it had started!

"Home! C'mon, James, Meowth!" she waved at the lazily weeping Growlmon and Nyasumon to follow her back into their reality, "Maybe if we can get home, you guys will turn back..."

She screamed as a wave of computer coding skimmed over her body. It was starting! She tossed herself through the fissure.

James rolled onto his hind legs (almost crushing Drew in the process), and stomped after her.
"Think it'll work, Ash?" Misty's tail rocked pensively back and forth.
This is the first half of the story that :icondragoncrescent: and I worked on.

Ash and co. try to go to Sylph Co. as a favor to Prof. Oak. When they get there, something goes wrong and the world starts to get converted into a digital world - as do the people and Pokemon.

This is the first part thanks to the annoying thing that DA does where you have to cut your stories into parts because of word/KB limits. XP

First Arc now has the title: Digitization. Expect to see more - hopefully soonish.
